Dussehra Pooja is an auspicious day in the Hindu calendar, marking the victory of Goddess Durga over the demon Mahishasura. The puja is performed to seek the blessings of the goddess for peace, prosperity, and good health.

The ceremony starts with prayers to Lord Ganesha, followed by Lord Shiva, and then a sacred fire (Havan) is lit. Offerings including fruits, flowers, incense, and ghee are made to the goddess.

Also known as Vijayadashami, this day marks the end of the nine-day Navratri festival and commemorates Lord Rama's victory over Ravana. It symbolizes the triumph of truth and righteousness. In some regions, Saraswati Puja is also observed on this day.
