Maa Maha Kali, also known as the Goddess of Time and Death, is one of the most popular deities in the Hindu pantheon. She is often depicted as a dark-skinned woman, wearing a garland of skulls and carrying a trident. Her cult is particularly popular in Bengal and Assam. Maha Kali is considered to be a powerful force for both good and evil. She is often invoked during times of trouble, as she is believed to be able to vanquish evil and bring peace and prosperity. Her aarti, or devotional hymn, is recited by devotees all over India. The aarti begins with a prayer to Lord Shiva, who is Maha Kali's consort. It then goes on to praise the Goddess, describing her as the destroyer of demons, the giver of boons, and the protector of her devotees. The hymn ends with a request for Maha Kali's blessings.
