Pitar Aarti is a Hindu ritual in which the father is worshipped as the supreme deity. It is usually performed on special occasions like the birth of a child, a wedding, or a festival. The aarti is performed by lighting a lamp and placing it in front of the father. Then, the son or daughter takes the lamp and circles it around the father's head, while singing hymns or prayers. After the aarti is complete, the father blesses the child and gives him or her a gift.
